On November 21 beginning at 9:00 AM the New Echota Rivers Alliance will conduct a Physical/Chemical Monitoring Workshop. During this workshop you will learn the four proceedures for chemical monitoring as recommended by Georgia Adopt-A-Stream. The testing will include protocols on the testing of temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH and conductivity. Upon completion of the workshop you will be certified by Adopt-A-Stream for chemical testing of rivers, lakes and streams. There is no charge for this workshop.
